The Farsons Foundation yesterday made a donation to Din l-Art Helwa to help with the cost of producing comprehensive and lively interpretation schemes at one of the historic sites entrusted to DLH.

Farsons' association with the heritage and environmental NGO goes back a long way, and the company has helped it on a number of other occasions.

The Farsons Foundation was officially established in March, 1995 by a notorial deed.

Simonds Farsons Cisk plc maintains the foundation through an annual contribution which is then allocated by the board of trustees towards the promotion of Maltese art, culture, heritage and history, as well as to encourage research in these spheres and assist voluntary organisations engaged in fostering social solidarity.

The late Chev. Anthony Miceli Farrugia was the first president of the foundation.
