Rubbish in soft areas

On my way to Valletta I drive past roundabouts, traffic islands, central strips and other soft areas which have been embellished by the private-public partnership.

I must say "a job well done" but, unfortunately, these soft areas are being transformed into litter dumps as drivers are getting the habit of throwing their litter in these areas, especially empty beer and water (plastic) bottles, cigarette butts and empty packets, fast food containers and paper bags.

We should be ashamed of this. When are we going to be proud of our spotless roads? It all depends on us.
