Injustices Tribunal cases

Of the 416 cases which the Tribunal for the Investigation of Injustices found in favour of complainants, seven judgments could not be implemented and another seven were being contested in the Civil Court, the prime minister told parliament yesterday.

Dr Fenech Adami told Dr Josè Herrera (MLP) that in the cases which could not be implemented, the tribunal had recommended promotions and the Public Service Commission found it could not implement.

The prime minister said a total of 1,337 cases had been filed before the tribunal. Its present case load is of 206 cases.
