Rabat one-way labyrinth

The only busy and main street in question is St Pius V Street which, unfortunately, has a bottleneck caused by about six parking bays on one of its sides but never caused traffic jams as the side streets always proved to be good escape routes. The other streets in question are secondary ones and I cannot figure out a reason for all these adjacent streets to be made into a one-way labyrinth.
This system will surely cause hardships to people living in the Nigret area and Ghar Barka housing estate on their way to Rabat to do their shopping as they have to zigzag into the proposed new system of one-ways!
So I ask the authorities concerned to re-think this idea. Please remember that the previous one-way system that was introduced was scrapped only months later and served to be just a waste of resources.
