Celebrating 50 years of priesthood

Mgr Joseph Curmi of Munxar has recently celebrated the 50th anniversary of his ordination with a thanksgiving Mass at St Paul Shipwrecked parish church, Munxar.
Bishop Nikol Cauchi gave a homily on the values of the priesthood.
Mgr Curmi was ordained by Bishop Joseph Pace on April 27, 1953 and occupied various posts in the Gozitan diocese, where (at the age of 74) he is still serving.
