Preparations are well in hand for the inauguration of Europe's first Kodak Digital World concept store, which will be situated at P. Cutajar & Co. Ltd's headquarters in Mriehel. The new outlet will be known as the Realfoto Imaging Centre and will be totally dedicated to the world of digital imaging.

To ensure that P. Cutajar employees are fully conversant with the operation of the new equipment to be installed at Realfoto Imaging Centre, Grigoris Heconomou, an engineer from Kodak Athens, was flown in to conduct in-house training. Throughout his stay, Mr Heconomou also installed an Encad Novajet digital large format printer. This is just one of the exciting new services available from this shop.

P. Cutajar's engineer Brian Saliba has also undergone two weeks of intensive training at Kodak centers in Stuttgart and Grenoble. He had the opportunity to work on the Kodak Picture Maker G3 and the Kodak System 89 digital prinitng machine.

Speaking about the launch of Realfoto Imaging Centre, P. Cutajar managing director Tony Zammit Cutajar said: "Our company has represented Kodak since 1935 and we are extremely proud to have been chosen by this world leading imaging company to open the first digital imaging center in Europe to offer Kodak Digital World range of services.

"This underlines Kodak's trust in the high level of professionalism and services we offer to our customers."

The Realfoto Imaging Centre will be open to the public from Monday, June 23.
