Appointed master resellers

Net2Phone have appointed Management Information Systems as their master resellers for the Maltese islands.

Net2Phone was founded in 1995 and is recognised as the first company to bridge the internet with telephone networks. It launched the first service allowing users anywhere in the world to place phone calls from their PCs to any telephone at low rates in 1996.

In 1997, Net2Phone introduced its calling card service, Net2Phone Direct, allowing users to place low-cost calls over the Internet with a traditional phone.

Net2Phone provides low-cost, high quality phone calls and faxes using personal computers, traditional telephones, internet devices, and calling cards.

Net2Phone is traded on the NASDAQ, and its strategic partners and investors include Liberty Media, AT&T and IDT.

Management Information Systems (MIS), the agent in Malta, is an established company with strategic partnerships with Nortel Networks and Panda Software. MIS's services include IT consultancy, network services, system support and software development.

MIS chief executive officer Melo Hili said being appointed Net2Phone's master resellers for Malta was a considerable achievement.
