A group of Arab youths who live at the upper end of Old Church Street in Birkirkara have acquired the disturbing habit of sitting on the benches near the old church and while away the time by pestering, frightening and molesting - up to now verbally - the young girls who either are on their way to church or to the nearby youth centre, or shopping in the nearby supermarket.

The police have been alerted to the situation. However, I do not know what they are waiting for to take action. A tragedy perhaps? Or an irate parent taking the law into his hands?
