Holy Trinity Band Club of Marsa said it would be abiding by the Curia's decision, albeit under protest, not to allow it to hold a band march today, as part celebrations marking the 10th anniversary of the club's new premises.

The Curia had issued a decree regulating band marches held during feasts but the club argued that as the march was not connected to a feast the one it had planned did not fall within the Curia guidelines.

The band club described the Curia's decision as "blatantly unjust".

It accused the Curia of not being credible by bending and breaching the new feast regulations at its whim.
