The Archbishop's Curia has appealed to parishioners to wear modest and decent clothing in churches and during the celebration of weddings and feasts.

The Church authorities are appealing to parents, teachers, and influential people to urge others to exercise Christian modesty when it comes to clothing.

It also appealed to parish priests to organise a group of persons to regulate entry and behaviour in churches on feast days.

Parish priests should also warn parishioners that a lack of adequate clothing could mar a special occasion.
