Progett Skart has introduced waste separation of plastic and metal during the Small Nations Games, using the slogan "Be a sport, please separate".

Colour coded bins, blue for plastic and black for metal, have been placed in seven different sport complexes: Marsa Stadium, Marsa Sports Club, National Pool Complex, University Sports Complex, Corradino Complex, Cottonera Complex and St Aloysius College.

The plastic and metal collected from these venues will then be sorted for recycling.

The initiative is being carried out in collaboration with The Ministry for Youth and Sports and with Green Skip Services, who are sponsoring the provision of bins.
