The process for the privatisation of lotto is in its final stages, Finance Minister John Dalli said in reply to a parliamentary question yesterday. He said the government was working for agreement with the Maltco Consortium and the lotto receivers.

He said the Privatisation Unit was not informed of any differences among the prospective Maltese shareholders.

The question was put by Labour MP Leo Brincat.
