My wife and I have just returned from another most enjoyable stay in Malta but were alarmed at the spread of TTS throughout the island.
We found Bugibba and Qawra very badly infected. Both Mellieha and Sliema are open to increased infection, but Marsaxlokk and Birzebbuga were clear.
In our hotel it could be seen and we have since learnt that apparently it is spreading to a number of other establishments. Oh... TTS, that is Time Share Salespeople.
It is becoming almost impossible to stroll along the promenades and not be accosted by such a person. The words "no" or "go away" are not in their vocabulary and often one has to be somewhat rude to get rid of their attention often with some verbal abuse in return.
I read an article in The Times relating to increases in tourism. I can assure you that quite a large number of people do not return a second time to your shores because of TTS.
If time share is such a wonderful thing why is it sold in such an underhanded method. We have estate agents so why not time share agents. What has time share got to hide?
