The parliamentary secretary in the Finance Ministry, Edwin Vassallo, was reported as saying (May 21) he was doing his utmost to ensure no permit would be issued for Doulos to sell books while in Malta.
Who does Mr Vassallo think he is? On whose side is he?
Need I remind him that I can order any book over the internet and have it delivered to my home?
What is he going to do? Ban the internet like some middle-age inquisitor as well? Surround Malta with a brick wall not to let any books in?
I thought this administration was for Europe, openness, inclusion, opportunities, learning.
Let me remind Mr Vassallo that if he thinks he can ignore us electors now, the time will come (very soon, let me hasten to add) when we will forget him.
