Due to a large number of participants, the festival was divided into two evenings, May 2 and 3, both of which took place at Don Bosco Oratory, in Victoria.

During the first evening, Christian Grech, of Munxar, placed first in category A for singers aged 7 to 10. The competition for adult singers, Category C, was won by Audrey Marie Bartolo, of Xaghra.

During the second show, Ylena Caruana, of Victoria, placed first for the fifth time in Category B for children aged 11 to 14, in which a total of 17 participants took part, with the song Tama fit-Tigrif. Category D, reserved for choir entries, was won by the Fjur t'Assisi choir of Victoria.

Prizes were also given for best lyrics and music originality. Trophies were distributed by Bishop Cauchi.
