Management development
In June, People & Co. Limited of Ta' Xbiex will hold a Management Development Programme. This highly interactive, six full-day programme is aimed at all those in leadership positions seeking further career and management development.
This course will also focus on gender issues relating to women managers. Where possible, participants are allocated to a group that most closely matches their course entry level in terms of experience and qualifications.
The course is structured in the form of presentations and workshops, which will enable participants to share experiences, enhance communication and acquire a thorough, solid and practical grasp of a number of management skills. The group exercises are based on examples from the service and manufacturing sectors.
This practical programme will help participants focus on career and management objectives, develop leadership, negotiation, team-building, feedback and presentation skills.
Each delegate will receive individual attention including a personality assessment carried out by a qualified assessor. The programme also involves outdoor team and motivational activities. At the end of the programme, course delegates will have completed a sophisticated career development action plan and career counselling.
Manage time and reduce stress in your lives
Although today most people are aware of the benefits of time management, very few people use it. The fact is, that if you are not under enough stress you can become bored and unmotivated and if you are under too much stress your results will suffer.
The Time and Stress Management Workshops will teach participants how to become more efficient and more focused, control distractions and break the flow, set objectives for improvement and develop a personal time management system.
Participants will also learn how to recognise their own stress levels, learn techniques for avoiding stress and create a personal stress reduction plan, giving themselves more quality time to relax and enjoy life.
These four informal and interactive half-day workshops, which include presentations, discussions and working groups, will be held in July and August at People & Co. Training Centre, Ta' Xbiex. Groups are small to allow greater individual attention.
Total customer care
This four half-day course will be held in June and July. It is the key to more efficient and result-oriented customer services. The importance of personal service has become paramount over the past decade due to rising customer standards and expectations, increasing local and international competition and automation.
The course will give answers to the following questions and more:
What is customer service? How can I project a positive corporate image?
What are the advantages of efficient customer service and positive image?
How do I develop a positive attitude with my work, with myself and with my customers?
How does efficient customer service affect the "bottom-line" financial results of my company?
What affects my motivation? How do I motivate myself?
Sales Psychology
This will be held in June and it aims to improve participants' psychological selling skills. It is a sales training programme that helps personnel involved in sales to improve their skills on the psychological side of the sales process. The programme is intended for people whose results are based on successful customer negotiations.
Furthermore, the training will give participants a better insight of the Customer Care in Action philosophy, by repeating its theory and the systematic approach to selling and customer handling. Good results can only be achieved with hard work and a solid know-how.
Occupational and Personality Testing
This course is scheduled for June and July. The use of occupational assessments is growing in Malta, especially for the purposes of developing quality selection, training and careers development procedures.
It is important that those who administer and interpret tests are well trained. People & Co. Ltd, in conjunction with Criterion Partnership (UK), are offering an intensive course, which qualifies as the basis for the British Psychological Society level A and B certificates.
This is a cost-effective course and an excellent opportunity for Human Resources and psychology undergraduates, graduates and professionals. It will be of interest to recruiters and anybody who appreciates the value of being able to use such assessments for quality selection, training and personnel development.
