The Centre for Arabic and Mediterranean Music in Tunis, in collaboration with the Tunisian Embassy in Malta, is giving two concerts on Friday and Saturday.

Music composed by Mro. Prof. Charles Camilleri will be performed by a team of young accomplished musicians, namely Godfrey Mifsud (clarinet), Sarah Spiteri (violin), Karl Fiorini (piano) and Marita Bezzina (soprano). The artists will perform in a beautiful Mediterranean castle at Sidi Bou Said in the suburbs of Tunis.

The artists will also be meeting other Tunisian musicians, including Mourad Sakli, who performed with the Sakli Trio in Malta last December at St James Cavalier.

They will also visit the university and the conservatoire in Tunis. Last year a similar event had taken place for the inauguration of the City of Sciences in Tunis.
