The Malta Transport Authority has taken over responsibility for the administration of the reserved parking service in front of residences of disabled persons, following an agreement between the authority and the National Commision for Persons with Disability.

The requisites for this service have remained unchanged.

The KNPD and the authority said in a statement that they are convinced that this measure, taken in the National Year of the Disabled, will promote a more efficient service for disabled persons and their relatives.

All applications and information regarding this service may be obtained from the Malta Transport Authority, Sa Maison Road, Floriana. Applications may also be obtained from the KNPD offices, Centru Hidma Socjali, Braille Street, Sta Venera.
