Some 200 bikers yesterday took part in the Rebel Riders Brotherhood annual Charity Ride, an event held in aid of philanthropic organisations.

This year the ride raised money for the shelter home Dar il-Wens. The presentation of the funds will be held on Friday.

Though the overcast skies were a bit of a damper, the event was deemed a success by the organisers.

Philanthropic organisations that have benefited from past charity rides include Id-Dar tal-Providenza and YMCA.
