School of Music prize-giving ceremony

The Gozo School of Music annual prize-giving ceremony was recently held at the Exhibition Hall of the Ministry, under the patronage of the Minister Giovanna Debono.

The ceremony started off with a short programme by the students who obtained an honours grade in their last scholastic exams. Various items were played on piano, violin, flute and clarinet.

Head of school Joy Frendo delivered a speech on the school's role in society. Once the certificates and prizes were distributed, the minister addressed the audience and emphasised the school's importance and the parent's role in the children's education.

The ceremony was followed by a reception.
