Counterfeit cigarettes seized

The police raided a Mosta garage and seized 57 cartons of counterfeit Rothmans Blue king size cigarettes, sources said.

This was the latest haul in an operation which has seen the seizure of at least 500 cartons of smuggled cigarettes this year.

Police Inspector Bernard Zarb is investigating.
