Casual election nominations

Five more candidates yesterday submitted nominations to fill seats vacated on the third, fifth, ninth and 10th districts by MPs who were elected from two districts.

Christopher Agius cast his nomination to fill the seat vacated by George Vella while Helen D'Amato cast her nomination to fill the seat vacated by Louis Galea.

Melvyn Mifsud cast his nomination to fill the seats vacated by Francis Zammit Dimech and by Joe Borg on two different districts while Joseph Cuschieri cast his nomination for Evarist Bartolo's seat.

Nominations will continue to be received until today. The casual election will be held tomorrow.
