The Muscular Dystrophy Group is organising a fundraising event at Bay Street, in St George's Bay on Sunday, Mother's Day.

The event will run from 2.30 to 8.30 p.m. and will include six hours of entertainment, presented by Andrea Cassar and provided by the Alicia Joy Dancers, Fabrizio Faniello, Lawrence Gray, Renato, Mike Spiteri, Freddie Portelli and Lynn Chircop among others.

There will be exhibitions of works by Rita Borg and photographs by Franco Caruana. The 16 finalists of the Miss Italia Malta competition will also be present.

There will be a demonstration by the St Paul Fencing Club, magic shows, competitions for children and games.

Raw Bikers' Club members will also be present.

Trips to Cyprus and Greece are being offered by Air Malta as prizes in a lottery.
