This year's centenary Malta Horticultural Annual Spring Show, organised by the Malta Horticultural Society, opened yesterday at San Anton Gardens. Among the flowers in bloom and vivid, creative arrangements, enhancing the already enchanting garden, highlights of the show include the recently restored Eagle Fountain, which has been decorated with flowers for the occasion. During the show, the Russian chapel in the Palace has also been opened to the public, while an art work created by artist Charles Sammut, the Samara, is being donated to San Anton Gardens. The show is open all day today during which competition winners will receive their prizes.
