The EU ambassador to Malta, Ronald Gallimore, has visited Dar il-Kaptan, the Mtarfa respite home for disabled people run by the Foundation for Respite Care Services.

The proceeds of the 2002 European Film Festival, which is organised annually by the EU delegation to Malta, were presented to Dar il-Kaptan during the visit.

The Foundation for Respite Care Services is a non-governmental organisation that offers residential and day respite care to over 200 persons with disability.
