Extras sought for Sharon Stone film

More than 300 extras are being sought for the film A Different Loyalty which is being shot in Malta in June, starring Sharon Stone and Rupert Everett.

The Canadian-UK co-production is currently preparing for filming.

An audition is being held at the Catholic Institute in Floriana on Saturday between 10 a.m. and not later than 4 p.m.

A Different Loyalty is being directed by Marek Kanievska (Less than Zero) and produced by Richard Lalonde, Demitri Samaha and Jan H. Vocke.

It is based on the true story of the British spy Kim Philby, one of the Cambridge spies.

The $10 million film, which will be released in cinemas worldwide early next year, is one of three projects that the local production company Producers Creative Partnership (PCP) has lined up for filming in Malta later on in the year.

Filming of A Different Loyalty in Malta will last for just over a week.
