FARRUGIA. On April 28, 2003, LAWRENCE, ex-manager Central Farmers Cooperatives, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his immediate family, relatives and friends. - R.I.P.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 1.45 p.m. for St Lawrence Collegiate Church, Vittoriosa, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.15 p.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.

SPITERI. On April 27, at St Luke's Hospital, ANNIE née Said, widow of Emanuel, aged 91, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughters Carmen and her husband Lawrence Schembri, Yvonne and her husband Joe Azzopardi, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 2 p.m. for St Publius parish church, Floriana, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Hospice Movement will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

VELLA. On April 27, LAWRENCE, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his irreparable loss his beloved wife Emily, his children Marlene, Mario, Joe, Connie, Monica, Emidio, Lycia, Austin, Edwin, Leonard and Isabella, their respective spouses, his brothers and sisters, grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves his residence today at 8.15 a.m. for St Mary's parish church, Mosta, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment at Mosta cemetery. Lord, embrace him in Your loving arms.

Requiem Masses

Tomorrow being the fifth anniversary of the death of JOSEPHINE CESAREO, all Masses said at Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Balluta, St Julian's, will be offered for the repose of her soul.

Requiem Eucharist

An Anglican (Church of England) Requiem Eucharist for Mike Temple will be held in the chapel of the Sacred Heart Seminary, Enrico Mizzi Street, Victoria, tomorrow at 11 a.m.

The celebrant will be the chaplain, Alan Woods, and following the service there will be a reception, and an opportunity to toast Mike.

Election Nominations

The Electoral Commission has received two nominations for the casual election in Attard council following the vacancy created by the election of councillor David Agius (PN) to the House of Representatives.

The nominations are for Patrick Galea and Mark Anthony Spiteri.

French Film

The Alliance Francaise de Malte is screening the French film J'ai épousé une ombre at its premises, Casa Sir Luigi Preziosi, 108, St Thomas Street, Floriana, on May 7 at 6.30 p.m. as part of its cultural programme.

Seminary Fair

The Archbishop's Seminary is holding its annual fair at its premises in Tal-Virtù, on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Entrance is free.
