Woman held up
A 63-year-old Siggiewi woman was suffering from shock yesterday but otherwise was not injured after she was held up and robbed of a small sum of money in her house in St Nicholas Street.
The woman, Nikolina Farrugia, was surprised by the men who were waiting for her inside her house when she returned from hearing morning Mass.
The police said the two men who were unarmed pounced on the woman as she arrived home and stole Lm20 and a pair of earrings.
