Two years' jail
A Sta Lucija man was yesterday jailed for two years for breaking into three cars in Tarxien on Monday morning.
Kenneth Vassallo, 30, pleaded guilty to stealing Amanda Maria Gauci's car stereo worth over Lm100, Marvic Caruana's speakers worth about Lm30 and another car stereo worth over Lm100 from a third car.
He also pleaded guilty to causing over Lm50 damage to the three cars and relapsing.
Police Inspector David Saliba prosecuted.
Dr Martin Fenech appeared for Vassallo.
