As Joe Azzopardi highlighted in his letter (April 15) MLP candidate Valerie Borg was extremely wrong in her statements about our highly respected prime minister.

Let us have a close look at the number of first count votes obtained by both candidates. Eddie Fenech Adami achieved 20,471 first count votes on two districts. On the other hand, Valerie Borg obtained 28 (only!) first count votes (an independent candidate on the third district managed to obtain 20 first count votes - and he had no party such as the MLP or the PN backing him). Mathematics shows a difference of 20,443 votes.

After this result, I just wonder who is (metaphorically) dead!
