¤ Pontifical concelebrated Mass led by Bishop Nikol Cauchi, with the participation of the Cathedral's Chapter and Chorus Ecclesiae Cathedralis, is being held at the Cathedral, today at 9 a.m.
¤ A sacred music concert led by Mro John Galea, with the participation of Chorus Urbanus and its junior section, and soloists Yvonne and Noel Galea, is being held at St Francis church, Victoria, today at 8 p.m.
¤ Processions with the statute of the Risen Lord will be held today:
from the Cathedral, with the participation of Leone Band, at 10.45 a.m.;
in Xaghra, with the participation of Victory band, at 6 p.m.;
in Nadur, with the participation of Mnarja band, at 9.15 a.m.;
in Qala, with the participation od Ite ad Joseph band, at 6 p.m.;
in Zebbug, with the participation of St Maria band, at 5 p.m.
¤ St George's basilica, in collaboration with the University of Malta - Gozo Centre and the Faculty of Theology, is organising an international symposium entitled "The Icon and its Mystery", on the occasion of the centenary celebrations since St George's martyrdom, at the basilica's Aula Mgr Giuseppe Farrugia, on Friday and Saturday.
It will be inaugurated at the Exhibition Hall of the Ministry, on Thursday at 7 p.m. Buffet lunch will be served on Friday during the mid-day break, and an evening dinner will be held at Ta' Cenc Hotel on Saturday.

Coping with Negative Emotions, an eight-session course spread over three weeks, in collaboration with the Department of Psychology at the University of Malta, commencing on May 2.
Basis of Medicine, consisting of seven two-hour weekly sessions, every Friday from 6 to 8 p.m., commencing on May 2.
Word-processing and spreadsheets for office work, an eight-week course co-ordinated by Frank Tabone, commencing on May 6. Lectures will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.
Internet and Website creation, a four-week course co-ordinated by Saviour Formosa, commencing on May 9. Lectures will be held on Fridays from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 to 11 a.m.

¤ A 36-hour music marathon is being organised by OASI Foundation with the participation of singers, musicians, DJs and rock bands, at Arkadia shopping complex's parking area, from May 3 at noon till May 4 at midnight.
