Gozo Half Marathon on April 27

The Gozo Athletic Association, in collaboration with the Malta Amateur Athletic Association and the Xaghra Local Council, will be holding the 28th Gozo Half Marathon tomorrow week.

The marathon, considered to be the biggest sporting event on the sister island, will be sponsored by San Michel and also enjoys the support of the Ministry for Gozo.

The starting point is Xaghra 's main square. Runners head to Marsalforn, Victoria, Sannat, Xewkija, Ghajnsielem, Qala, Nadur before heading back to Xaghra once again.

Besides the half marathon, the organisers will also hold an eight-mile race which, more or less, covers most of the longer route.
