Rita Borg has been elected to the board of the European Disability Forum, having been nominated by the European Alliance of Neuro-Muscular Disorders Associations.

Ms Borg is the secretary of the Muscular Dystrophy Group and was instrumental in setting up its youth group. She is also a member of the board of the National Commission Persons with Disability.
