A valuable experience for past and present AIESEC members

AIESEC, the world's largest non-political student organisation, long established locally, is holding a reception for past AIESECers on April 30, the eve of a public holiday, at the Coastline Suite, Coastline Hotel, Salina.

Since its inception in 1948, AIESEC's main aim has been to provide exchange opportunities for university students around the globe. Through exchange, people who go on traineeships, whether in accountancy, marketing, IT or education, face challenges which help them develop new skills and encounter different cultures.

Present in 85 countries, AIESEC enables trainees to undergo a life-enriching experience. Malta has been one of the top local committees to raise the greatest number of exchanges considering the country's size.

Active members, who together help make exchanges possible, also benefit from AIESEC, gaining leadership and time-management skills and stimulating their creativity, besides making new friends and having fun.

All past active members and trainees, AIESEC's alumni, can affirm this. Values and skills acquired through AIESEC are put into practice in the professional world. This student organisation plays an important role in the lives of several University students.

AIESEC in Malta is seeking to give the opportunity to alumni to be involved once again in this pro-active organisation.

It is important, both for the organisation and the alumni themselves, to bridge the gap between generations of AIESECers and keep the passion for AIESEC alive. Alumni stand to benefit from this, as AIESEC's extensive network facilitates the transfer of human resources, ideas and information.
