Frank Salt Real Estate sees positive feedback at UK shows
Frank Salt Real Estate Ltd's managing director Joe Lupi and director Grahame Salt recently participated in the International Property Show at London's Grosvenor House Hotel.
Director Douglas Salt has also returned from the UK where he took part in the World of Property Exhibition held at the Sandown Exhibition Centre in Surrey.
The company was once again promoting property and new developments in Malta and Gozo.
Mr Lupi said that the response was very encouraging - most people who visited the stands were very interested in taking up permanent residence in Malta.
Others were simply considering purchasing a holiday home.
In fact, several people who visited Frank Salt Real Estate Ltd's stands have already made appointments to come over to Malta or Gozo during the forthcoming months to view properties.
Considerable interest was shown in new developments, such as the latest Marina Development of Tignè Point, the Cottonera Waterfront Project, Verdala Mansions and Portomaso.
"Two factors which have influenced the increase in interest of foreign nationals looking to buy property on the Maltese Islands were the favourable property market in the UK, and Malta's entry in the European Union," Mr Lupi pointed out.
"Unfortunately, prices in Malta and Gozo are in some respects still relatively high when compared to other competing countries, like Spain and Cyprus.
"Unlike these countries, land for development in Malta is at a premium and this is reflected in our property prices.
"We have to ensure that our prices remain competitive.
"On the other hand, the Maltese Islands have other factors which attract settlers to our shores, like our culture and history, people's hospitality and the general standard of living," he said.
The company has scheduled participation at other property exhibitions next month and in October.
