Sister Frances Lynch, a Sacred Heart nun who was in Malta in the 1960s, has returned for a three-month visit.

Currently on a Sabbatical year, Sr Frances will also visit other European countries.

Sr Frances paid a visit to St Edward's College Junior School and addressed the boys in the college chapel, telling them about her work in some of the poorest areas of Kenya.

The boys asked many questions about what life is like for the children that Sr Frances works with. These are children with disabilities and who need a lot of assistance.

The college boys also presented a donation of Lm200 which they themselves raised.

Sr Frances's visit formed part of the Lenten activities that St Edward's Junior School organises for the boys.

Sr Frances said she wanted to return to Malta during her Sabbatical Year because she feels that in Malta her Christian faith was strengthened and renewed.
