Two teenage boys were yesterday conditionally discharged for three years for stealing a car from the airport's car park.

The two boys, aged 15 and 17 and both from Sliema, pleaded guilty to stealing Josephine Martin Flores' vehicle from the car park on February 8 and trying to steal Adriano Cefai's car from St Julian's two days later.

They also admitted to driving without a licence and insurance cover and driving dangerously and recklessly and were both banned from driving for a year.

Police Inspector Mario Tonna prosecuted.
