A Valletta man was yesterday jailed for two years for the violent indecent assault of two girls.
The 34-year-old man, whose name cannot be published by court order, pleaded guilty to violent indecent assault, holding the two girls against their will and using violence to compel them to do his bidding.
He also admitted to threatening them and defiling one of the girls, a minor, offending public morals and relapsing.
On handing down judgment, Magistrate Miriam Hayman noted that the man had been given several opportunities to change his ways but had not taken the chances.
Police Inspector Jesmond Borg prosecuted.
