The Team Mini 40 Club will be hosting its Concours d'Elegance at Bay Street on Sunday. The event, starting at 1.30 p.m. will see around 40 Minis competing with each other for the best kept vehicle trophy.

The club was formed in September 1999 when it held its first official event in Gozo. Eventually, club members started meeting on a regular basis, every first Sunday of the month, for a Mini Run. The Concours d'Elegance is held three times a year besides various Mini Sprints and other social activities.

Following this event, the club will change its official name to Mini and BMC Owners Club in order to cater for an ever increasing number of enthusiasts owning other models such as Morris, Austin, MG, Jaguar, and other BMC cars of any epoch.

Members of the public wishing to join the club are requested to contact president Ian Grech on 99854137.

The annual membership fee is Lm5.
