Three new Occasion Cards, featuring Malta's award-winning stamp in last year's Europa series, are being issued tomorrow, Maltapost said.

Besides the Malta "Clown" stamp in full colour, which is common to all three cards, the surrounding area of the cards features - in sepia monochrome - all the participating stamps from the 44 member countries of PostEurop, together with the title Best Europa 2002 Circus Stamp.

The cards, in sets of three, will be available in either mint or cancelled format, at a total cost of 48 cents, from all Maltapost branch post office counters in Malta and Gozo, from the Maltapost mobile unit, and from the philatelic bureau.

The cards may be sent through the post, without any additional postage, up to Thursday, April 3. Cards similarly cancelled and posted after this date are to carry stamps to cover the required postage.

Philatelists, collectors and the general public wishing to place standing orders for Occasion Cards, which may also include previous issues, may do so by e-mail on philately@maltapost. com, or through the website.
