Volunteer teachers sought

Puttinu Cares - Children's Cancer Support Group is appealing for volunteer teachers who could donate a few hours of their time.

The group is setting up an education service for Wonderland, the children's cancer ward at St Luke's Hospital.

Patients undergoing cancer treatment miss out on valuable schooling, which can affect their entire education. The new service aims to keep their education going and helps them re-integrate into the school system when they are able to.
