The Catholic Action Youths of Tarxien have won this year's National Youth in Society Award.

The award is organised by the Department of Youth and Culture and is given to the youth group with most evidence of voluntary initiative during that year.

The award was presented by the Parliamentary Secretary in the Education Ministry, Jesmond Mugliett, during a recent ceremony at the Victoria Hotel in Sliema.
