There are three motions and two resolutions proposed by the RMGC. These were designed to make the running of MSC more transparent, more representative and more cost effective.

Motion one proposes that expatriate members should be treated in the same way as Maltese nationals. Motion two proposes that minutes of committee meetings should be accessible to the membership. Motion three proposes that membership lists should be available to ancillary clubs and sports sections.

Resolution one asks for the appointment of an independent accountancy firm to look into the costs of running the club and how these should be apportioned. Resolution two calls for overhaul of the structure of the committee and for the club's chairman to be elected directly by the members.

Motions require two-thirds majority vote while resolutions require a simple majority. Given the positive nature of motions and resolutions we support the encouragement given to members to attend the annual general meeting and vote.
