'Water wisdom'
About 500 parents attended the recent open day at the Carlo Diacono girls' secondary school, in Zejtun.
The highlight of the open day, on the theme of water, was a windmill surrounded by other equipment which was loaned for the occasion by the Institute of Water Technology.
The school is taking part in an Erasmus project called "Water wisdom", together with other schools in Malta and Norwegian, Danish and Greek organisations.
A number of activities, ranging from sport to cultural events were also organised.
