Some 150 Gozitan farmers attended a seminar organised by Magro Brothers on the registration of agricultural land and on opportunities derived from the Rural Development Programme.

The farmers, who were mainly growers of tomatoes for processing, were also briefed on the Integrated Amalgamated control System through which the farmers apply for subsidies.

The panel was led by John Magro, chairman of Magro Brothers, and included officials from the department of agriculture and the Gozo ministry.
