The Central Bank of Malta said another consignment of silver numismatic coins commemorating the Maltese composer Nicolò Isouard - the renowned Maltese composer who lived between 1775 and 1818 - will soon be available.
The first consignment had been sold out after particular interest was shown by a number of collectors, including foreign numismatics.
The CBM said the new consignment was expected to meet pending orders and satisfy existing demand.
It also reminded members of the public who have not yet taken delivery of the coins they have ordered to call at the Central Bank to collect their order.
The Nicolò Isouard commemorative coin is the second in a series of silver coins being issued by the CBM to commemorate distinguished Maltese personalities. The first featured the late Prime Minister Enrico Mizzi.
Those who would like to order the Nicolò Isouard commemorative silver coin - which has a face value of Lm5 and a selling price of Lm15, including VAT - may do so by contacting the Malta Coins Distribution Centre at the Central Bank of Malta, Castille Place, Valletta.
The centre may be contacted on 2550 0000 or e-mail info@centralbankmalta.com.
Information on commemorative coins available for sale is on the website.
Persons visiting the bank also have the opportunity of seeing an exhibition of all the commemorative coins that have been issued to date by the CBM in the main hall.
