Two more candidates have been added to the list approved by the MLP extraordinary general conference: former minister Reno Calleja and Michael Zammit.

The delegates at the EGM on Friday voted to approve 76 candidates, but during the conference they approved a request by Opposition Leader Alfred Sant to authorise the party to approve any other candidates who came forward.

When the list of approved candidates was sent to the media by the MLP yesterday, the two names had been added to it.
