Miss Maltese Islands contest for September

Miss World Jersey Ltd has once again awarded Modelle International the licence to represent the winner of Miss Maltese Islands in the Miss World contest on December 8.

Modelle International, run by Sue Rossi and Claudia Calleja, will be holding the local contest at the Mediterranean Conference Centre on September 13.

Whoever is crowned Miss Maltese Islands will go on to represent Malta at the Miss World contest which is this year being held in China.

Modelle International is calling on any prospective competitors to sit for an interview.

Contestants must be aged between 17 and 25, have a good educational background, not be married and not have any children.

The organisers will give contestants the opportunity of training in the way the girls carry themselves, how to face the camera and how to answer questions during interviews.

Prior to the final contest, all the finalists will take part in various activities such as Miss Photogenic Looks, Talent Show, and the Local Council presentation.
