A shame

What a shame to hear the newscaster of a foreign TV station say that the leader of the opposition will defy the will of the majority of the people, should his party win the forthcoming election.

Is this the Labour Party democracy, that Dom Mintoff fought for? Is this the democracy that Gorg Borg Olivier and his followers and all the Maltese have fought for?

I think that Alfred Sant's time has come for him to resign and let someone else take over. I am sure that if he does so, and resigns, as soon as he can, his party will get a breath of fresh air. I am sorry to say, but Malta is being talked about, and not in a very positive way.

Well done for the Maltese who voted yes in the referendum. I, and many others can assure you, that this is the right, and only step, for Malta and the Maltese.

The proof of the pudding is in the eating, so they say, and I can assure you it is going to be a well deserved meal that we are going to have by joining the EU.
