Dowty Automotive (Malta) Ltd has invested Lm130,000 in a new ERP system which is a manufacturing and financial IT system.

Dowty's human resources executive Josianne Camilleri said a large number of employees were involved in the setting up and implementation of the new system which will see a complete change in the current way of recording production and progress of work.

The new system ensures the total trackability of products from the manufacturing stages to delivery to customers.

Through this investment the company ensures that it provides customers with the best product quality and efficiency of delivery, Ms Camilleri said.
